I like this one. Ordinarily I find prose poems too wordy (at least when I've tried to write them) and almost pretentious but the simplicity of the scene and the whimsy and subtle emotional response to it are really put forward nicely here. Good show!

Thanks, Gary. I admit that I didn't even write it as a prose poem, just a recollection of my experience earlier that day, but I am flattered that it came out well enough to seem intentional.
